A-ha is a Norwegian pop band formed in 1982 in Oslo. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Morten Harket, guitarist Paul Waaktaar-Savoy, and keyboardist Magne Furuholmen. A-ha's music is known for its catchy, synth-pop sound and distinctive vocals, and the band has achieved worldwide success with hits such as "Take On Me," "The Sun Always Shines on T.V." and "Stay on These Roads."

A-ha made their debut in 1984 with the single "Take On Me," which became a global hit and reached the top of the charts in several countries. The accompanying music video, which featured the band members singing and playing instruments in a pencil-sketch animation style, also gained widespread popularity and helped to establish the band's unique visual identity.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, A-ha released a series of successful albums and singles, including "Hunting High and Low," "Scoundrel Days," and "East of the Sun, West of the Moon."
