Arcade Fire is a Canadian indie rock band formed in Montreal in 2001. The band consists of husband and wife Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, along with Win's younger brother William Butler, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara. The band's current lineup also includes backing vocalist Sarah Neufeld, percussionist Tiwill Duprate and saxophonist Stuart Bogie. Arcade Fire is known for their energetic live performances and their use of a wide variety of instruments, including accordion, violin, and mandolin.

Arcade Fire's debut album, "Funeral," was released in 2004 to widespread critical acclaim. The album's lead single, "Wake Up," became a hit and helped the band gain a devoted fan base. In 2007, Arcade Fire released their second album, "Neon Bible," which also received widespread praise and earned the band a Grammy award for Best Alternative Music Album.

Arcade Fire's third album, "The Suburbs," was released in 2010 and earned the band critical acclaim and a Grammy award for Album of the Year. The album's lead single, "Ready to Start," was a fan favorite and the album spawned several other successful singles, including "We Used to Wait" and "Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)."

Arcade Fire's fourth album, "Reflektor," was released in 2013 and featured a more electronic and dance-inspired sound. The album's lead single, "Reflektor," was a hit and the album received generally positive reviews. In 2017, Arcade Fire released their fifth album, "Everything Now," which features a more pop-inspired sound and includes the hit single "Everything Now."
