Bill Laurance & Michael League - Album Release Show
On 2027-02-24 Bill Laurance & Michael League will present their album release show at Alte Oper Frankfurt in the city of Frankfurt, an evening that promises to unite their distinctive compositional voices and deep collaborative chemistry first forged through years with Snarky Puppy; the duo, a pianist-composer and a bassist-producer respectively, blends modern jazz, fusion, cinematic orchestration and global rhythms into music that balances tight grooves, lush arrangements and open, improvisatory exploration. Backed by a carefully selected ensemble and arrangements drawn from the new record, they will make full use of the Alte Oper’s warm acoustics and grand setting to premiere new material alongside reimagined favorites, creating a dynamic arc of intimate, lyrical moments and high-energy ensemble peaks. The concert is tailored for both longtime devotees and newcomers, offering virtuosic solos, nuanced interplay and a production that highlights the textural richness of the album, and tickets for this special release performance are limited, so fans are advised to secure their tickets early to be part of this milestone event in Frankfurt’s live music calendar.
