Charles Brauer & Uschi Brüning - Weihnachtliche Erinnerungen an Manfred Krug
On 18 December 2026 the König Albert Theater in Bad Elster will host Charles Brauer & Uschi Brüning - Weihnachtliche Erinnerungen an Manfred Krug, a warm, evocative concert that brings together spoken word, jazz‑inflected song and seasonal repertoire to celebrate the spirit and artistry of Manfred Krug. With Brauer's expressive narration and Brüning's luminous voice, the evening blends cherished Krug classics, poetic reflections and intimate holiday melodies into a program that evokes nostalgia, wit and gentle melancholy. The historic König Albert Theater, with its intimate auditorium and rich acoustics, provides the perfect setting for an audience to immerse themselves in stories and songs that recall the actor‑singer's distinctive timbre and cultural legacy. Attendees can expect a theatrical, cinematic presentation that alternates between conversational exchanges, solo performances and duo interpretations, all presented with fine musical accompaniment and sensitive arrangements. Tickets for this limited engagement are likely to sell quickly, so concertgoers are encouraged to secure their places early for what promises to be a memorable, heartwarming evening of Weihnachtliche Erinnerungen in Bad Elster.
