Danceperados of Ireland - Life, love and lore of the Irish Travellers Tour
On 12 January 2027 the Danceperados of Ireland bring their Life, Love and Lore of the Irish Travellers Tour to Stadttheater Elmshorn in the city of Elmshorn, offering a stirring concert that fuses virtuosic Irish stepdance, live traditional music and vivid storytelling to celebrate Traveller heritage and human connection. The company's tightly choreographed routines and driving rhythms are paired with haunting ballads and rollicking reels performed by an onstage band, creating an emotional arc that moves from intimate tales of love and loss to foot‑stomping communal joy. Audiences can expect theatrical staging, rich costumes and authentic songs and narratives that illuminate the lore, resilience and humor of the Traveller community while showcasing the athleticism and precision of the dancers. Designed to appeal to both folk‑music aficionados and theatergoers, the evening balances spectacle and storytelling, inviting the crowd to laugh, reflect and join in the rhythmic pulse of each piece. Tickets are limited, so early booking is recommended to secure a seat for this unforgettable celebration of Irish culture and craft.
