On 2027-10-27 Deacon Blue bring their Raintown 40th Anniversary Tour to P&J Live in the city of Aberdeen, delivering an emotionally charged concert that celebrates the band's seminal debut with faithful renditions of Raintown alongside iconic hits from across their career. Frontman Ricky Ross's warm, evocative vocals and the band's tight musicianship will conjure the album's urban storytelling and melancholy optimism, filling the modern arena with shimmering guitar lines and soulful piano. Fans can expect a carefully curated set that blends the original record performed live with thoughtful reinterpretations, singalong moments and a few surprises that honor four decades of songwriting. With Aberdeen's lively atmosphere and easy transport links, the P&J Live date promises both long-time devotees and new listeners a memorable night, so early booking of tickets is recommended to secure the best seats for this special celebration.
