Del Amitri: Past to Present - Four Decades Of Their Greatest Music
On 5 December 2026 Del Amitri bring "Past to Present — Four Decades Of Their Greatest Music" to Dundee Caird Hall in Dundee for an evening that traces the band's evolution from their early days to the finely crafted pop-rock songs that have defined their career. The concert promises a career-spanning set of chart hits, fan favorites and unexpected deep cuts delivered with the craftsmanship and dry wit that have made the Scottish band a beloved live draw, and the Caird Hall's sweeping acoustics provide a warm, resonant backdrop for both intimate ballads and rousing singalongs. Longtime followers and newcomers alike can expect songs that chronicle four decades of songwriting—moments of bittersweet reflection, wry observation and chorus-driven catharsis—performed with the veteran poise and emotional clarity that characterize Del Amitri's live shows. With December's winter air adding extra sparkle to the night, attendees will find the hall's historic architecture illuminating every lyric and guitar line while the city of Dundee hums with pre- and post-show energy. Tickets are on sale for this special celebration of a band whose tunes have soundtracked relationships, road trips and quiet late nights, so fans should secure their seats early to avoid missing what promises to be a memorable, career-spanning concert experience.
