Erika Pluhar und Roland Guggenbichler - Es war einmal
On 24 January 2027 the historic Orpheum Wien in Vienna will host Erika Pluhar und Roland Guggenbichler with their program "Es war einmal," an intimate evening that weaves Pluhar's poetic storytelling and warm vocal presence with Guggenbichler's sensitive musical accompaniment to conjure a world of memory, fairy tale and Viennese melancholy. The concert promises a carefully curated mix of spoken-word passages, chanson and instrumental interludes that highlight the performers' longtime affinity for narrative song and theatrical nuance, creating moments of quiet reflection as well as wry, urbane humor. In the Orpheum's elegantly atmospheric auditorium the duo's chemistry and nuanced dynamics will be drawn into sharp relief, offering audiences an up-close experience that feels both personal and timeless. The program's title, "Es war einmal," invites listeners to revisit familiar stories and forgotten feelings through new musical colors and lyrical phrasing, making the evening appealing to lovers of cabaret, literary song and refined stagecraft. Tickets are available through the Orpheum Wien box office and official online channels, and early purchase is recommended for those who wish to secure the best seats for what promises to be a memorable night in Vienna.
