Europe is a Swedish rock band formed in Upplands Väsby in 1979. The band originally consisted of Joey Tempest (lead vocals), John Norum (guitar), Peter Olsson (bass guitar), and Tony Reno (drums). Their 1986 hit "The Final Countdown" is considered their signature song and is one of the best-selling singles of all time.
The band has released multiple albums throughout their career, including "Europe" (1983), "Wings of Tomorrow" (1984), "The Final Countdown" (1986), "Out of This World" (1988), and "Walk the Earth" (2017).
