Jack Savoretti + James Morrison
On 17 July 2027, Jack Savoretti and James Morrison will share the stage on the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade for an outdoor concert that pairs Savoretti's intimate, gravelly songwriting with Morrison's soulful, emotive vocals against the dramatic backdrop of the castle; set beneath ancient stone ramparts and a stretch of Scottish sky, the evening will blend tender ballads, stripped-back acoustic moments and uplifting anthems that carry across the open air. The contrast of modern singer-songwriter craft and classic soul will be amplified by the venue's sweeping views over the city, where sunset light and the silhouette of the fortress create a cinematic atmosphere that makes every song feel immediate and communal. Concertgoers can expect warm, resonant sound filling the esplanade and close, heartfelt performances that invite both quiet reflection and singalong joy. For those planning to attend this highlight of Edinburgh's summer music scene, tickets are likely to sell quickly, so early booking is recommended to secure a memorable night under the castle walls.
