Jann, born Jan Rozmanowski on February 12, 1999, in Lublin, is a Polish singer and songwriter whose melodic journey resonates from the heart of Lublin to international acclaim. Growing up in Garwolin, he is the fourth of eight siblings, raised in a musically inclined family that gained recognition through their participation in Polsat's "Nasz nowy dom" in 2013.
Musical Roots: From Garwolin to the World
Jann's musical talent flourished at an early age, with childhood performances at the Teatr Muzyczny "Od Czapy" in Garwolin. At the age of 12, he graced the stage of the Opera Narodowa, showcasing his vocal prowess in productions like "Król Roger." Although he attended the Szkoła Muzyczna in Garwolin for three years, his family's relocation to Lurgan, Northern Ireland, marked a pivotal moment. Continuing his studies at the Flynn Performing Arts School, he later pursued vocal education at BIMM in London from 2018 to 2021, ultimately settling in Warsaw.
Debut Symphony: "Do You Wanna Come Over?"
Jann's musical journey soared on November 5, 2020, with the release of his debut single, "Do You Wanna Come Over?" In 2022, he dropped the mini-album "Power," showcasing his versatility. His presence graced festivals like the Off Festival, Great September, and international stages in Budapest (BUSH2022) and Bratislava. Supporting Ralph Kaminski on tour, Jann left an indelible mark on the music scene.
Eurowizja Drama: "Gladiator" and Beyond
In a climactic turn of events, Jann secured the second spot with "Gladiator" in the Tu bije serce Europy! Wybieramy hit na Eurowizję! finale on February 26, 2023. Despite being a frontrunner, the loss stirred national discussions. Undeterred, Jann's post-Eurowizja journey unfolded with performances at Melfest WKND 2023 in Stockholm and a nationwide concert tour.
Sonic Adventures: From Sopot to International Tours
May 2023 witnessed Jann's performance at Polsat SuperHit Festiwal, followed by a June duet with Jared Leto and Thirty Seconds to Mars at the Orange Warsaw Festival. September 21, 2023, marked the release of his single "The Letter." The Jann Tour commenced on November 4, 2023, and in February 2024, he embarks on an international tour, also joining Madison Beer as support on her European tour.
