Jools Holland and His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra
On 20 November 2026 Jools Holland and His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra bring their irresistible mix of boogie-woogie piano, swaggering horn charts and guest vocalists to Symphony Hall in the city of Birmingham for an evening of high-spirited, old-school R&B and big-band glamour. Expect a joyous, tightly arranged show that swings from rollicking piano-led numbers to soul-stirring ballads, punctuated by blistering sax and trumpet solos, warm harmonies and the kind of singalong moments that turn an audience into a party. The acoustically superb Symphony Hall provides the perfect setting for the Orchestra's rich, layered sound, whether you're seated close enough to see Jools at the keys or higher in the hall where the ensemble's full dynamic range fills the space. Fans and newcomers alike will find themselves dancing in their seats and cheering for encore after encore as familiar classics and tasteful covers blend with the band's signature arrangements. Tickets for this can’t-miss concert are in demand, so early booking is recommended to secure the best seats for what promises to be one of Birmingham's most celebratory nights of live music in 2026.
