Moka Efti Orchestra & Benno Fürmann - Der Vorhang fällt
On 9 November 2027, the Moka Efti Orchestra and actor Benno Fürmann bring Der Vorhang fällt to the Georg-Friedrich-Händel Halle in Halle, offering a singular concert experience that fuses the orchestra's lush, 1920s-inspired big-band sound with Fürmann's charismatic theatrical narration. The program weaves cabaret-era jazz, tango, and cinematic arrangements into dramatic vignettes that evoke smoky dance halls, silver-screen glamour and the bittersweet finality implied by the title, while a carefully staged visual world of lighting and costume amplifies the emotional arc. Fürmann inhabits characters and monologues between orchestral numbers, turning each piece into part of a larger storytelling journey that blurs the line between concert and theatre. Audiences should expect an intimate yet grand evening of music and performance, and are advised to secure tickets early for this singular event in one of Halle's most celebrated halls.
