Purple Rising & Dio Alive
On 2026-12-27 the Event Werkstatt in Wetzlar will host Purple Rising & Dio Alive for a night of high-octane rock as two top tribute acts recreate the thunderous riffs and soaring vocals made famous by Deep Purple and Ronnie James Dio. Purple Rising delivers the Hammond-driven power and guitar pyrotechnics that defined classic Deep Purple, while Dio Alive channels the raw, operatic intensity of Dio with blistering solos and anthemic choruses. Fans can expect faithful renditions of era-defining tracks, theatrical stagecraft, and a crowd-fed energy that turns every chorus into a communal roar, making this concert an essential winter pilgrimage for classic rock devotees and newcomers alike. With the intimate acoustics of Event Werkstatt ensuring every riff and vocal nuance is heard, concertgoers should secure tickets early to avoid missing what promises to be a rapturous evening of timeless hard rock.
