Rick Wakeman - The Wizard of Prog: Ultimate Highlights Concert Tour
On 25 February 2027 Rick Wakeman brings The Wizard of Prog: Ultimate Highlights Concert Tour to the historic Usher Hall in Edinburgh, delivering an evening that celebrates his extraordinary career with virtuosic keyboard work, sweeping arrangements, and a setlist drawing from landmark works such as The Six Wives of Henry VIII and Journey to the Centre of the Earth alongside surprise highlights spanning five decades. The intimate yet grand acoustics of Usher Hall will showcase Wakeman’s dazzling synthesis of classical, rock, and theatrical elements, with a dynamic ensemble supporting his signature synthesizers, grand piano, and storytelling between numbers. Fans can expect a carefully curated mix of instrumental fireworks, melodic epics, and reflective passages that honor Wakeman’s influence on progressive music while translating his studio ambitions into an immediate live experience. This concert promises both spectacle and nuance, making it a must-see event for long-time devotees and newcomers alike, and tickets are expected to sell quickly so early planning is recommended.
