Roland Jankowsky - Wenn Overbeck kommt
On 2 September 2027 the Kulturspeicher in Leer will host Roland Jankowsky in "Wenn Overbeck kommt," an intimate concert-performance that blends sharp storytelling, theatrical presence, and live music to bring the quirky, poignant world of Overbeck vividly to life; attendees can expect a warm, atmospheric evening in the historic venue where Wadden Sea light meets carefully arranged soundscapes and a charismatic stage performance. Roland Jankowsky's seasoned delivery and timing transform each scene into a small theatrical gem, supported by musicians whose arrangements underscore the narrative without overpowering it, creating moments of humor, melancholy, and reflection in equal measure. The Kulturspeicher's compact auditorium allows the audience to feel close to the action, making every gesture and musical phrase feel immediate and personal. Whether you are a fan of contemporary German theater, intimate live music, or the subtle art of spoken-song storytelling, this concert offers a rare chance to experience a celebrated performer in a setting perfectly suited to the material. Tickets are expected to sell quickly, so early booking is recommended to secure seats for this memorable evening in Leer.
