Rory Gallagher by Band of Friends feat. Gerry Mcavoy & Brendan O´Neill
On 9 November 2026 the Rory Gallagher by Band of Friends feat. Gerry Mcavoy & Brendan O´Neill will take the stage at Pitcher in Düsseldorf, promising an electrifying evening that channels the raw blues-rock energy and virtuoso guitar work that made Rory Gallagher a legend. With Gerry Mcavoy's thunderous bass and Brendan O´Neill's propulsive drumming anchoring a repertoire of Gallagher favorites and deep cuts, the band recreates the authentic interplay and improvisational fire of the original recordings while adding fresh, live intensity. Fans can expect soaring guitar solos, intimate acoustic moments, and an audience-charged atmosphere in the intimate setting of Pitcher, where the sound will be immediate and the passion unmistakable. Tickets for this concert often move quickly, so early booking is recommended for anyone eager to experience a faithful, high-energy tribute to one of rock's greatest guitarists.
