Her father, Finn Salomonsen, was an ornithologist. With a musical career marked by versatility and longevity, Sanne Salomonsen has left an indelible mark on Danish rock music.
Starting her journey at the age of six with a ballet performance in Elves' Hill, Salomonsen joined her first band in 1967 and continued to evolve as an artist. She showcased her talent in Danish versions of musicals like Hair and Godspell, further solidifying her presence in the music industry.
Sanne Salomonsen's debut album, released in 1973, marked the beginning of her extensive career. She was a part of the group Flair from 1974 to 1977 and provided backing vocals for artists such as Sebastian.
