Schiller - 500 Meter unter der Erde - Underground - In Surround Sound
On 6 March 2027, Schiller — 500 Meter unter der Erde — Underground — In Surround Sound will take place at Erlebnis Bergwerk Merkers in the city of Merkers, transforming the subterranean salt mine into a breathtaking audiovisual environment. Audiences will descend half a kilometer below ground to experience expansive electronic soundscapes and delicate ambient passages played in true surround sound that reverberate against salt-carved walls, turning every echo into part of the music and every beam of light into a visual instrument. The concert pairs Christopher von Deylen's signature melodic textures with site-specific production design, immersive surround mixing and sculptural lighting to create an intimate yet monumental atmosphere that can only be experienced in this extraordinary setting. Limited tickets are available for this unique event, and attendees are advised to book early to secure their place for the underground concert.
