On 2027-04-04 at Gebäude 9 in Cologne, The Academic bring their I’m Not Crying, You Are Tour to an intimate, high-energy setting where shimmering guitars, taut rhythms, and singalong choruses are expected to fill the room and turn the audience into the band’s extended lineup; the concert will showcase a dynamic mix of new material and beloved favorites, delivered with the band’s characteristic urgency and melodic craft, while lighting and sound design amplify every emotional peak and quiet moment. Fans can anticipate a tight, well-paced set with moments of crowd interaction and at least one rousing encore, and the compact size of Gebäude 9 promises close-up views and an immersive sonic experience that larger arenas can’t match. Local support acts are likely to warm the crowd with complementary indie-rock sounds, setting the tone for the headliner’s more anthemic numbers. For those planning to attend, advance tickets are recommended to secure entry to what should be a memorable night of raw energy and heartfelt songwriting in one of Cologne’s best-loved live venues.
