The Irish Folk Festival 2027 - Happy to Meet - Sorry to Part Tour

The Irish Folk Festival 2027 - Happy to Meet - Sorry to Part Tour festival will take place on November 20, 2027 at the historic Konzertkirche Neubrandenburg in the heart of Neubrandenburg, offering an evening of traditional and contemporary Irish music, lively céilí dancing and storytelling that celebrates the warmth and melancholy of Gaelic culture. Audiences can expect masterful fiddlers, soulful singers, rhythmic bodhrán and bouzouki accompaniment, and guest musicians who bring both reverence for tradition and fresh arrangements that keep the music alive for new generations. The atmospheric church setting provides resonant acoustics ideal for intimate ballads and rollicking reels alike, while workshops, singalongs and informal sessions invite participation from seasoned fans and newcomers. Emphasizing community, hospitality and the bittersweet themes encapsulated by the tour's title, the festival promises both toe-tapping energy and moments of reflective beauty.
