The Kilkennys - Music of Ireland Tour 2027
On 22 October 2027 The Kilkennys bring their Music of Ireland Tour to Jazzhaus in Freiburg for a concert that blends rambunctious reels, soul-stirring ballads, and playful storytelling in a warm, up-close setting. Known for tight three-part harmonies and a dynamic mix of traditional and contemporary arrangements, the band will fill the room with bodhrán, fiddle, guitar, and the charismatic banter that turns each show into a shared celebration. Audience members can expect an evening that moves effortlessly from foot-stomping jigs to reflective songs about home, history, and the Irish spirit, with opportunities for singalongs and spontaneous dancing. The intimate acoustics of Jazzhaus will highlight the nuance of the arrangements while retaining the raw energy of a pub session, making the performance ideal for both longtime fans of Irish music and newcomers. Concertgoers are advised to secure tickets early, as The Kilkennys' reputation for sold-out nights means this date is likely to be in high demand.
