The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain - Anarchy in the Ukulele
On 21 February 2027 the irrepressible The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain brings Anarchy in the Ukulele to the Kölner Philharmonie in Cologne for a night of startlingly inventive arrangements, deadpan humour and virtuosic ensemble playing that transforms familiar pop, punk and classical tunes into tiny, resonant powerhouses. The concert blends impeccably tight musicianship with theatrical flair, featuring rapid-fire medleys, tongue-in-cheek renditions and moments of genuine emotional warmth that make even the most subversive covers feel celebratory. Audiences can expect inventive reworkings, unexpected guest spots and the kind of communal atmosphere that turns every chorus into a singalong, while attentive listeners will appreciate the subtle dynamics and expert phrasing that showcase the ukulele’s surprising range. Whether you are a longtime fan or curious newcomer, the performance promises a memorable evening in one of Cologne’s finest venues. Tickets are on sale now and are likely to move quickly, so book early to secure your place at this uniquely charming concert.
