The Watch plays Genesis - Foxtrot & Selling England by the Pound Tour
On 2028-03-17 The Watch brings its acclaimed Genesis – Foxtrot & Selling England by the Pound Tour to Stadthalle Oberursel in Oberursel, delivering a faithful and passionate recreation of Genesis's early-70s masterpieces. Expect a full-length concert that recreates the textures and theatricality of Foxtrot and Selling England by the Pound, from the sweeping suite of "Supper's Ready" and the piano and soaring guitar solo of "Firth of Fifth" to the quirky charm of "I Know What I Like," all rendered with vintage keyboards, precise guitar work and dynamic drumming. The band pairs meticulous musicianship with evocative lighting and stagecraft to capture the original albums' narrative drama while adding their own sympathetic energy, making the evening both a nostalgic pilgrimage for long-time fans and an accessible introduction for new listeners. Tickets are recommended early for this intimate venue to avoid disappointment, and attendees can expect an evocative night that honors Genesis's legacy while showcasing The Watch's skill at bringing classic progressive rock to vivid life.
