The Who is a British rock band formed in London in 1964. The band's classic lineup consisted of lead singer Roger Daltrey, guitarist and singer Pete Townshend, bassist John Entwistle, and drummer Keith Moon. The Who is known for their energetic and powerful live performances, and have been referred to as one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

The Who's early music was influenced by rhythm and blues and rock and roll, and they were one of the first bands to introduce the concept of the rock opera with their album "Tommy." The Who's other notable albums include "Who's Next," "Quadrophenia," and "The Who by Numbers."

The band has had a number of lineup changes over the years, with Daltrey and Townshend being the only members to have appeared in every iteration of the group. Despite the loss of Entwistle and Moon, The Who continues to tour and perform to this day, with drummer Zak Starkey and bassist Pino Palladino completing the current lineup.

The Who's concerts are known for their high-energy, explosive nature, with Townshend famously destroying his guitar during performances. The band has sold out arenas and stadiums around the world, and tickets for their concerts are highly sought after.

The Who's music has had a lasting impact on rock music, with their hits such as "My Generation," "Baba O'Riley," and "Who Are You" becoming rock classics. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and received a lifetime achievement award at the Brit Awards in 2005.

Despite over 50 years in the music industry, The Who show no signs of slowing down, and continue to tour and perform to sold-out crowds. Their concerts are a must-see for any fan of rock music.
