Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado
Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado bring their incendiary mix of blues, soul and rock to Fabrik Hamburg on September 9, 2027, delivering a night of punchy horn-driven grooves, searing guitar work and impassioned vocals that will have the room moving from the first note to the last; the intimate-industrial setting of Fabrik gives the performance a raw, immediate energy that magnifies call-and-response moments and lets every solo cut through with clarity. The band’s knack for dynamic shifts—from slow, simmering ballads to full-tilt party anthems—creates a concert experience that rewards both longtime fans and newcomers, with chances to dance, sing along and soak in the communal atmosphere that defines their live shows. Lighting and sound at Fabrik are tuned to accentuate the warmth of the horns and the grit of the rhythm section, making each song feel both monumental and close-up, while Risager’s charismatic stage presence keeps the audience locked in throughout the set. For anyone wanting to be part of this unforgettable evening, it’s wise to secure tickets early to guarantee a spot at one of Hamburg’s most electric autumn shows.
