Torfrock - 35. Bagaluten-Wiehnacht
On 2026-12-30, the legendary Northern German rockers Torfrock will bring their festive 35. Bagaluten-Wiehnacht to Westand in Braunschweig, promising a raucous, sea-shanty-infused evening that blends humor, maritime lore and loud riffs. The intimate industrial-chic setting of Westand will amplify the band's trademark mix of accordion, electric guitar and gravelly vocals, turning traditional shanties and their best-known anthems into sing-along moments for fans old and new. Longtime followers know that Torfrock's Bagaluten-Wiehnacht shows are equal parts concert, cabaret and communal party, with rollicking guitar solos, bawdy storytelling and theatrical costumes that invite the audience to join the revelry. Expect seasonal surprises, lively crowd participation and a warm, boisterous atmosphere that makes the year’s end feel like a rollicking voyage home. Tickets are expected to sell quickly, so fans should plan ahead to secure their place at what promises to be one of Braunschweig's most talked-about winter events.
