Ute Lemper - Rendezvous with Marlene
On April 17, 2027 Ute Lemper brings her acclaimed Rendezvous with Marlene program to Stadthalle Saarburg in Saarburg, promising an evening that reimagines the glamorous, sardonic and tender repertoire of Marlene Dietrich through Lemper's smoky voice, theatrical intensity and exquisitely arranged orchestration. The concert will move between German cabaret, émigré film songs and classic chansons in multiple languages, blending intimate storytelling, cinematic costume and precise musical direction to conjure the era's bittersweet glamour while making the material feel immediate and contemporary. Audiences can expect haunting, fiercely personal interpretations of signature numbers, lush instrumental textures and moments of close theatrical connection in the atmospheric setting of Saarburg's Stadthalle, where light and stagecraft heighten every dramatic turn. This is a rare opportunity to experience a master interpreter honoring one of the 20th century's most iconic performers, and fans are advised to secure tickets early to guarantee their seats for a night of elegance, wit and emotional clarity.
