Weihnachtskonzert mit VOCES8
On 2 December 2026 the acclaimed vocal ensemble VOCES8 will present a Weihnachtskonzert at the historic Hauptkirche St. Michaelis (Michel) in Hamburg, filling the baroque nave with their luminous a cappella sound and a program that blends traditional carols, Renaissance and early Baroque sacred works, and contemporary arrangements that highlight their signature blend of purity and warmth. The Michel’s towering architecture and resonant acoustics provide an intimate yet grand setting, where candlelit ambiance and the church’s ornate interior amplify every harmonic detail and create a contemplative holiday atmosphere. Audiences can expect a carefully crafted musical arc that moves from quiet meditative pieces to joyful, communal songs that invite reflection and celebration alike, making the evening suitable for longtime choral aficionados and newcomers seeking a memorable seasonal experience. With limited seating in this iconic Hamburg landmark, advance purchase of tickets is recommended to secure a place at this special concert offering and to avoid disappointment.
