Alex Christensen and friends - The Classical Dance Show /500 Meter unter der Erde
On 2027-05-22, Alex Christensen and friends present The Classical Dance Show /500 Meter unter der Erde at Erlebnis Bergwerk Merkers in the city of Merkers, an extraordinary concert set deep within the mine tunnels 500 meters below the surface; the program fuses sweeping orchestral passages with pulsing electronic rhythms and contemporary choreography to create a unique cross-genre experience. The subterranean venue amplifies the music's resonance and, paired with immersive lighting and projection design, transforms historical industrial chambers into a dramatic stage that highlights both the power of live musicianship and the energy of dance-oriented beats. Attendees can expect intimate acoustics, striking visual contrasts between rock and light, and a thoughtfully staged evening that honors the mine's heritage while pushing musical boundaries. Because capacity is limited in the underground galleries, organizers advise booking tickets early to guarantee a place at this singular event that invites lovers of classical music and club culture alike to share an unforgettable night.
