Alexander Scheer, Andreas Dresen & Band
On 28 February 2027, Alexander Scheer, Andreas Dresen & Band take the stage at the Schauspielhaus in Dresden for a singular concert that blurs the line between cinema, theatre and live music, promising an evening where storytelling and song converge. The group's cinematic sensibilities and improvisational energy will fill the historic venue with intimate vocal moments, sweeping instrumental passages and spontaneous interplay that turns each piece into a small dramatic scene. The Schauspielhaus's warm acoustics and ornate atmosphere will amplify the emotional arc of the program, transforming quiet, reflective passages into hush-filled breaths and powerful climaxes into shared release. Audiences can expect a dynamic mix of tender, spoken-word fragments, robust band textures and unexpected reinterpretations that celebrate both songwriting and performance art. Advance tickets are recommended, as the event is certain to attract longtime fans of German cinema and music lovers seeking a rare, immersive live experience. Whether you come for the theatricality, the musicianship or the unique collaboration on stage, the concert promises an unforgettable night in the cultural heart of Dresden.
