Alexander Scheer | Andreas Dresen & Band - Spielen (nicht nur) Gundermann
On 2026-12-04, Alexander Scheer together with Andreas Dresen & Band bring "Spielen (nicht nur) Gundermann" to Glad House Cottbus in the city of Cottbus, presenting an intimate and powerful concert that revisits the songs, stories and spirit of Gerhard Gundermann through theatrical performance and live music. Scheer's commanding stage presence and the band's evocative arrangements combine with Dresen's artistic vision to create a program that blends faithful interpretations, surprising reinventions and personal insights, engaging both longtime fans and newcomers. The evening promises a rich emotional arc, from quietly reflective ballads to raw, driving anthems, framed by spoken passages and visual moments that deepen the portrait of an iconic East German songwriter. Tickets are available for those who want to experience this unique melding of filmic storytelling and live rock-folk performance in Cottbus, and advance purchase is recommended to secure the best seats.
