David Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra - Christmas in Swing
On December 26, 2026, Christmas in Swing — David Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra will transform the Kammermusiksaal of the Philharmonie in Berlin into a glittering holiday dance hall, presenting a spirited concert of big-band swing, inventive jazz arrangements of beloved Christmas carols and vintage dance standards that invite both listening and dancing. Hermlin's warm vocals and the orchestra's razor‑sharp brass, silky saxophones and irresistible rhythm section combine with festive arrangements and lively solos to create an evening of exuberant musicianship and crackling, danceable energy, while the Kammermusiksaal's renowned acoustics add clarity and warmth to every phrase; tickets are expected to go quickly, so book early to secure your place at this must-see post-Christmas celebration.
