On 31 October 2027, Deacon Blue brings the Raintown 40th Anniversary Tour to the OVO Hydro in Glasgow for a stirring celebration of the landmark album that helped define a generation. The concert promises a powerful blend of Raintown’s dusky, street-level storytelling and the band’s richer, later anthems, delivered with Ricky Ross’s unmistakable voice, tight musicianship, and moments of heartfelt encore singalongs. Fans can expect to be transported through sweeping arrangements and intimate acoustic passages that highlight songs like "Raintown," "Dignity," and other fan favorites while the Hydro’s world-class sound and lighting amplify every emotional high and low. This hometown show will bring together longtime devotees and new listeners in a warm, communal atmosphere where memories are recalled and new ones are made. Tickets are expected to be in high demand, so early booking is advised to avoid missing what promises to be one of the standout concerts of the year.
