Del Amitri: Past to Present - Four Decades Of Their Greatest Music
Del Amitri: Past to Present - Four Decades Of Their Greatest Music comes to Barrowland in the city of Glasgow on 2026-12-08 for an intimate yet electrifying concert that traces the band's career from their earliest jangly pop anthems to the polished, emotionally resonant hits that have defined four decades, promising a setlist that will satisfy longtime fans and newcomers alike. The legendary Glasgow venue will amplify the warmth of Justin Currie's vocals and the band's melodic craftsmanship, creating moments of singalong nostalgia and surprising reinterpretations that highlight how their songwriting has evolved without losing its essential heart. Expect tight musicianship, shimmering guitars, and a stage presence that balances reverence for classic tracks with fresh energy, while lighting and sound enhance every lyrical detail so that each song lands with renewed clarity. With a mix of fan favorites, deep cuts, and possibly a few rarities, the evening is designed to be both a celebration and a retrospective, offering a communal experience where stories embedded in the music find full expression in the crowd's response. Fans planning to attend should secure tickets early to ensure entry to this special hometown stop, where merchandise, atmosphere, and the sheer pleasure of live performance combine to make the night a memorable highlight of the year.
