Giora Feidman - For a Better World: Giora Feidman Duo
On 8 November 2026 at the Edwin Scharff Haus in Neu-Ulm, legendary clarinetist Giora Feidman brings his "For a Better World: Giora Feidman Duo" project to an intimate concert that blends klezmer roots, Jewish liturgical echoes, classical sensibility, and spontaneous improvisation into a program of warmth and longing. Performed in a pared-back duo setting with a sympathetic longtime collaborator, Feidman's clarinet sings with plaintive lyricism and exuberant dance-like bursts, inviting listeners into an evening of reflection, joy, and shared humanity that resonates with the show's plea for peace and connection. The resonant architecture and attentive atmosphere of the Edwin Scharff Haus will amplify subtle interplay and delicate phrasing, making each phrase feel immediate and personal. Audiences can expect a rich emotional arc—from meditative laments to celebratory tunes—delivered with the poise and storytelling that have defined Feidman's career. Advance tickets are recommended for this sought-after event, which promises to be an unforgettable musical encounter for longtime fans and newcomers alike.
