Ibibio Sound Machine bring their ecstatic fusion of West African funk, disco, post-punk and electronic rhythms to O2 Ritz Manchester in the city of Manchester on 2027-05-22, delivering a high-energy concert that promises polyrhythmic percussion, punchy horns and Eno Williams's hypnotic, call-and-response vocals. The intimate, gilded auditorium of the O2 Ritz will be transformed into a heaving dancefloor where songs from across their catalogue and new material collide with shimmering synths and propulsive grooves, inviting the crowd to move from the first beat to the encore. Expect a vibrant light show, tight musicianship and moments of spontaneous celebration as the band blends tradition-rooted rhythms with modern production to create both visceral noise and soulful melodies. Fans should secure tickets early to guarantee entry to what will be an unmissable night of communal dancing, sweat-soaked joy and genre-defying music in the heart of Manchester.
