Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra
On 27 June 2027 Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra bring their irresistible blend of piano-led boogie, big-band swing and soul to the Princess Theatre - Torquay in the city of Torquay, promising an evening of vintage grooves and modern showmanship. Led by Jools' immaculately swinging piano and warm stage presence, the orchestra delivers virtuosic horn sections, tight rhythm grooves and guest vocalists who resurrect R&B standards and offer joyful new interpretations that invite both dancing and singing along. Audiences can expect a generous selection of classic numbers, jaunty instrumental breaks and spontaneous collaborations that showcase the band's improvisational flair and communal spirit, all performed in the intimate, beautifully appointed setting of the Princess Theatre. Whether you're a lifelong fan or new to their effervescent live shows, this concert is an opportunity to experience first-class musicianship and high-energy entertainment, so be sure to secure your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
