Michael Wollny - Solo - eine Winterreise
On 2026-12-02 at UT Connewitz in the city of Leipzig, pianist Michael Wollny presents Solo — eine Winterreise, an intimate concert that promises a deeply personal reimagining of the winter-journey theme through evocative piano textures, spontaneous improvisation, and moments of quiet reflection. In the warm, close-up atmosphere of UT Connewitz, Wollny's distinctive touch and wide-ranging dynamics are set to transform familiar motifs into new, surprising narratives that invite listeners to experience the emotional arc of winter in fresh ways. Fans and newcomers alike should consider securing tickets early to ensure a place at this unique evening of singular artistry, when the boundaries between classical form and contemporary improvisation dissolve in the hands of one of Germany's most adventurous pianists.
