The Smyths (Tribute to The Smiths)
On 2027-01-30, The Smyths (Tribute to The Smiths) will take the stage at O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in the city of London, offering fans a lovingly accurate and spirited recreation of The Smiths' classic catalogue. The band reproduces the jangly guitar interplay and literate melancholy that defined the original recordings while adding the immediacy of a live performance in one of London's most intimate mid-size venues. Audiences can expect a set that moves between plaintive ballads and upbeat indie anthems, sung with Morrissey-like heart and played with Johnny Marr-style intricacy, creating a nostalgic yet fresh concert experience. The historic, atmospheric walls of the Shepherds Bush Empire amplify every lyric and riff, making for communal singalongs and quiet, reflective moments in equal measure. Fans eager to relive the era or discover the songs anew should secure tickets early, as this beloved tribute regularly sells out and promises an unforgettable night for lovers of classic British indie.
