The Very Best of the Pogues
On 2026-12-07, O2 City Hall, Newcastle in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne will come alive with The Very Best of the Pogues, a stirring concert celebrating the band's raucous blend of Irish folk and punk that promises singalong anthems, aching ballads, and a night of rowdy, heartfelt music. The atmospheric Victorian hall provides an intimate yet electric setting where fans old and new can lose themselves in driving rhythms, spirited fiddle lines, and the raw storytelling that made the originals legendary. Expect a set that honors classic tunes alongside deeper cuts, delivered with passion, reverence, and plenty of crowd participation, creating a communal feeling that is part pub singalong and part rock show. Local patrons and visitors should plan ahead, as tickets are likely to sell quickly for this must-see event in Newcastle upon Tyne, and securing seats early will ensure you don't miss an unforgettable evening.
