The Wedding Present - Seamonsters 35th Anniversary
The Wedding Present will mark the 35th anniversary of their seminal 1991 album Seamonsters with a special concert on 2026-11-19 at Vortex Musikclub in Siegen, where the band is expected to perform the album in full alongside fan favorites and deeper cuts from their catalog. The intimate confines of Vortex Musikclub will amplify the album's raw, jagged textures and David Gedge's urgent vocals, creating a live experience that blends catharsis and nostalgia for long-time devotees and newcomers alike. With the city's vibrant indie scene and the band's enduring reputation for propulsive, fast-paced sets, the night promises to crackle with energy while spotlighting Seamonsters' bleak beauty and towering guitar work. Tickets are likely to move quickly, making this concert a coveted opportunity to witness a milestone performance up close.
