The Wombats: A Guide To Love, Loss and Desperation
The Wombats bring their landmark album A Guide To Love, Loss and Desperation to life on 17 April 2027 at O2 Academy Brixton in London, a celebratory concert that marks two decades since the record's release and promises the sing-along hooks, shimmering synths, and propulsive guitar anthems that made the band a fixture of indie pop. Fans can expect a lively set that balances fan favorites like "Let's Dance to Joy Division" and "Backfire at the Disco" with deeper album cuts, delivered with the trio's characteristic wit and irresistible stage energy. The Brixton crowd will get a night of confetti-ready choruses, urgent rhythms, and intimate storytelling, all enhanced by tight lighting and a venue-sized sound that makes each melody land big. Advance tickets are expected to sell quickly, so early booking is recommended for anyone who wants to secure a spot at this must-see concert.
