Joachim Witt - Lux Aeterna - Kirchentour 2026
The Joachim Witt - Lux Aeterna - Kirchentour 2026 concert will take place on 2026-12-11 at the evocative Philippuskirche in Leipzig, offering an intimate evening where Witt's dramatic voice and Lux Aeterna repertoire meet the church's soaring acoustics. Audiences can expect a carefully curated program that blends sacred atmosphere with gothic and electronic elements, creating moments of hushed reflection and unexpected intensity as synth textures, piano and organ resonate beneath vaulted ceilings. The candlelit nave and stained glass will frame a theatrical presentation that highlights both new arrangements and the haunting spirit that has defined Witt's career, making this performance as much a spiritual experience as a musical one. Fans are advised to secure tickets early to ensure entry to this unique concert setting, where the historic space and contemporary sound combine for a memorable winter evening in Leipzig.
