Richard Thompson - Band Tour 2027 - Hippies, Thugs, and Heroes
On 2027-04-16 the Richard Thompson - Band Tour 2027 - Hippies, Thugs, and Heroes concert will light up Musiktheater Rex in Bensheim, offering an evening of masterful guitar work and storytelling from one of Britain's most revered singer-songwriters. Joined by his tight band, Thompson is expected to balance searing electric solos with intimate acoustic arrangements, moving fluidly between beloved classics and compelling new material from the tour's adventurous setlist. The compact, atmospheric setting of Musiktheater Rex will accentuate the emotional immediacy of Thompson's songs and create a close connection between performer and audience. Fans should look for dynamic interplay, wry lyricism, and the kind of musicianship that rewards repeated listening, while the stagecraft and pacing of the show will keep the night engaging from opener to encore. Tickets for this special concert are on sale through the venue and official outlets, and early purchase is recommended to secure preferred seating in Bensheim's intimate theater.
