Richard Thompson

On 7 May 2027, Richard Thompson brings his singular blend of ferocious guitar virtuosity and wry, elegiac storytelling to The London Palladium in London, delivering a concert that marries intimate acoustic numbers with electrifying band pieces in one of the city's most storied theaters. Long admired for songs that traverse folk, rock and blues, Thompson is likely to draw on a career-spanning repertoire—touching on celebrated classics and unexpected deep cuts—while showcasing the nimble fingerwork and mordant lyricism that have defined his work. The Palladium's grand but warm auditorium provides an ideal setting for moments of quiet reflection and sudden instrumental fireworks, creating an evening that feels both cinematic and immediate. With demand high and limited tickets available, the show promises to be a memorable highlight for longtime fans and newcomers alike, offering a rare chance to experience a modern master of song in top form.
