The Jesus and Mary Chain & The Psychedelic Furs
On 20 January 2027, Usher Hall in Edinburgh hosts a rare double bill as The Jesus and Mary Chain & The Psychedelic Furs take the stage for an unforgettable concert that marries shoegaze distortion with post‑punk swagger. Fans can expect a set that weaves The Jesus and Mary Chain's brooding, reverb-drenched classics with The Psychedelic Furs' charismatic, sax-tinged anthems, producing waves of nostalgia and electric intensity across the historic hall's superb acoustics. The intimate grandeur of Usher Hall will make every chiming guitar, haunting refrain, and vocal hook resonate, turning familiar songs into visceral moments and newer material into revelations. Atmosphere will shift from dreamy, feedback‑laced passages to danceable, sing-along choruses as both bands feed off a packed crowd, so arrive early for the best vantage and to make sure you secure your tickets. Whether you're drawn by the thick, velvet noise of The Jesus and Mary Chain or the anthemic charisma of The Psychedelic Furs, this concert in Edinburgh promises a rare night of iconic sound and communal energy that will linger long after the final encore.
