Die Nacht der 1000 Kerzen - The Gregorian Voices zur Weihnachtszeit
Experience Die Nacht der 1000 Kerzen - The Gregorian Voices zur Weihnachtszeit on 26 December 2026 at the Konzerthalle Ulrichskirche in the city of Halle, where the ancient harmonies of Gregorian chant and haunting seasonal arrangements will be sung in a sea of candlelight, filling the historic nave with luminous warmth and sacred resonance. The Gregorian Voices blend timeless monastic melodies with delicate modern textures to create an intimate concert atmosphere that highlights the venue's extraordinary acoustics and the contemplative spirit of the Christmas season. Audiences can expect a program of Gregorian chant, medieval carols and gently reimagined Christmas favorites performed by skilled vocalists whose pure tones float through the vaulted space, accompanied at times by subtle instrumental color. With seating limited by the unique candlelit staging, tickets are sought after, so early booking is recommended to secure a place at this unforgettable post-Christmas celebration of light and song.
