The Gregorian Voices - Gregorianik meets Pop - vom Mittelalter bis heute
On 2026-12-16 The Gregorian Voices - Gregorianik meets Pop - vom Mittelalter bis heute will present a mesmerizing concert at Schloss Burg An Der Wupper in Solingen, where the austere beauty of Gregorian chant is intertwined with contemporary pop arrangements to trace a musical journey from the Middle Ages to the present day. The ensemble's luminous vocal blend and inventive harmonizations reframe ancient liturgical melodies alongside pop-inflected rhythms and lush instrumental textures, filling the castle's historic halls with an atmosphere that is at once sacred, cinematic and surprisingly immediate. Audiences will be taken through moments of contemplative stillness and ecstatic choral swellings as period ambience, modern production and evocative lighting converge to highlight the continuity between medieval music and today's popular repertoire. With its singular fusion of tradition and modernity, this concert promises a memorable evening of sound and ambiance, and music lovers are advised to book tickets early to secure their place.
