The Gregorian Voices - Gregorianik meets Pop - vom Mittelalter bis heute
On 7 November 2026 The Gregorian Voices present Gregorianik meets Pop - vom Mittelalter bis heute at Christuskirche Schulau in the city of Wedel, offering a mesmerizing concert that fuses the austere beauty of medieval Gregorian chant with contemporary pop arrangements and lush vocal harmonies. The ensemble's richly layered voices transform ancient melodies into modern soundscapes, enhanced by the warm acoustics and historic atmosphere of the church, inviting listeners to journey from the Middle Ages to the present in a single evocative program. Audiences can expect haunting unaccompanied chant, innovative reinterpretations of pop classics, and intimate moments of call-and-response that highlight both the timelessness and the contemporary relevance of sacred song. The evening is designed to appeal to longtime choral enthusiasts and newcomers alike, creating a shared, immersive experience that resonates long after the final note fades. Tickets for this unique concert are available online and at the venue, promising an unforgettable night of spiritual depth, melodic creativity, and emotional resonance in the heart of Wedel.
